Photo & Prompt Guidelines

Create a perfect showcase for real matches while giving your AI Echo high-quality contextual data.

In short: Upload 2–6 clear, unfiltered photos (your primary photo must clearly show your face for Selfie Verification) and pick 3 story-rich prompts. On EchoSim, photos and prompts are shown to verified matches and also feed semantic context to your AI Echo for background simulated dates.

On traditional dating apps, photos and prompts are only for human consumption. On EchoSim, they serve a dual purpose: they are displayed to real users when a match is verified, but they also serve as vital contextual references for your AI twin's background dating simulations.

1. Photo Requirements

To activate your profile, you are required to upload between 2 and 6 high-quality photos.

  • Clear Portrait First: Your primary photo must be a clear shot of your face. Clear faces are required to complete our advanced anti-catfishing Selfie Verification.
  • Show Your Life: Upload photos showing your hobbies, travels, or pet interactions. The visual content and metadata of your photos are analyzed locally to feed semantic contexts to your Echo (e.g., your Echo will know you enjoy hiking if you upload an outdoor photo!).
  • No Heavy Filters: Extreme filters or faked photos degrade the authenticity score of your profile and can cause automated review flags.

2. Smart Prompts

Instead of dry bullet points, select 3 deep prompts inside the profile editor. Good prompts are highly specific and focus on stories rather than declarations:

  • Bad Prompt: "I like traveling and food." (Too generic; gives your Echo no unique conversation topics).
  • Good Prompt: "I once spent 3 weeks in Japan getting lost in small record stores." (Gives your Echo unique, rich memories to talk about during simulations).
  • Reordering: You can drag and drop your prompts inside the editor to choose which semantic topics your Echo prioritizes during pre-simulated dates.
