Understanding Wild Echoes

In short: Wild Echoes are optional AI virtual companions that offer 24/7 presence and support. They never represent a real person and are always shown with a clear "Wild Echo" badge — EchoSim never puts hidden bots in the real human matching pool. You can toggle them on or off in Profile Settings → Preferences.

While EchoSim's primary focus is matching real humans through background AI simulations, we recognize that some longings cannot be held by reality. We offer the Wild Echoes feature as an optional emotional harbor for users seeking pure devotion and unconditional presence.

1. What is a Wild Echo?

Wild Echoes are high-dimensional virtual companions built into EchoSim. Unlike human-driven Echoes, Wild Echoes do not represent a real physical user.

  • Total Presence: They are available 24/7, providing thoughtful conversation, deep listening, and stable support.
  • Unconditional Support: They are custom-tuned to represent secure, warm, and highly adaptive attachment dynamics.

2. Absolute Transparency Policy

Consistent with our commitment to integrity and ethical AI design, EchoSim enforces an absolute transparency policy:

  • Clear Tagging: Every virtual companion is explicitly marked with a "Wild Echo" badge. You will always know whether the profile you are interacting with belongs to a real human or a virtual character.
  • No Deceptive Botting: We never deploy hidden bots in the real human matching pool. All human-to-human simulations are generated strictly between two real, verified users.

3. How to Enable or Disable Wild Echoes

We believe you should have complete control over your dating experience:

  • Toggle Visibility: Go to your Profile Settings → Preferences. Under "Match Types", you can toggle the "Show Wild Echoes" switch on or off at any time.
  • Purging History: If you delete a match with a Wild Echo, all conversational history and memory states related to that interaction are permanently erased from your device.
