Reading Your Match Reports

A simple, friendly guide to reading your Echo's simulated date replays and understanding compatibility scores.

By the EchoSim Team · Last updated June 1, 2026

In short: A Match Report summarizes your Echoes' simulated date. The Spark Meter shows an overall compatibility score and the Warmth Curve graphs how the connection grew; below it, the Chat Replay shows the line-by-line transcript. You then choose to connect (start a real chat), run another scenario, or pass.

EchoSim takes the stress out of online dating. Instead of making you swipe and engage in weeks of dry, repetitive small talk, your Echo does the early chatting for you. Once a background simulated date completes, you receive a friendly, easy-to-read Match Report. Here is how to understand it!

1. The Spark Meter & Chemistry Graph

At the top of your report, you will find a simple Spark Meter showing an overall compatibility score.

  • The Spark Score: A higher score means your Echoes had an exceptional conversational flow, shared key values, and felt a genuine connection.
  • The Warmth Curve: A simple graph visualizes how the connection grew and warmed up during the conversation, helping you see where the chemistry blossomed.

2. Reading the Chat Replay

Scroll down to read the actual, line-by-line conversation between your Echo and their Echo.

  • Vibe Preview: See how your Echo shared your hobbies, cracked jokes, and answered questions. It reads exactly like a real chat log, giving you a perfect preview of their communication style.
  • Playful Twists: See how they reacted to fun, simulated scenarios (like deciding how to escape an escape room or sharing a virtual dessert). It's a quick, stress-free way to preview their true personality.

3. Choosing Your Next Step

After reading the replay, you hold complete control over what happens next:

  • Connect (Start Real Chat): If you love their vibe, skip the boring icebreakers and jump straight into a real-world conversation with someone you already know you click with.
  • Try Another Scenario: Want to see how your Echoes get along under different fun scenarios? Spend a few coins to run a new simulation in a different setting.
  • Pass: If the chemistry isn't there, simply pass with no hard feelings. Since no active typing occurred, there is zero dating anxiety, awkwardness, or ghosting pressure.
